SELF-TEST ON A CRYSTAL SCAN MONITOR

Remove the cable from the monitor to the CPU and hold the power button in for a FULL 60 SECONDS.
CBR says that a "colored screen" should appear and that is you indication that the monitor is functioning (assuming the color is true).
